Company History

The following is a timeline of key milestones Usiplast has made up to present day.

Leaders Always Look Toward The Future.

Usiplast was founded in 2005 in Saint-Lazare-de-Bellechasse, Quebec, as a repair shop for a local injection moulder. Over the past 18 years, we have grown from a small-sized dedicated repair shop into a stand-alone state of the art tool maker.

2008 - Relocate to gain floor space

As word got out, the dynamic duo was performing so much repair work for other moulders / mould makers in the area during their "downtime" that they needed to add staff and equipment to handle the influx of work. They moved into the back warehouse area of the building basically tripling their floor space.

2012 - New mould RFQ boom

Repairs eventually turned into new builds for local moulders. This resulted in the purchase of a 2nd CNC machining center, the building of a mezzanine to increase floorspace AGAIN and the purchase of a hot runner controller to validate the multi-cavity moulds now being built.

2024 - New address (coming soon)

With 3 CNC machining centers,2 lathes, 2 brigeports, a stockroom full of steel and components and more equipment ready for delivery, it was time to find a stand-alone building. The move to Ste-Claire, Quebec, in 2024 will add the level of capacity required to avoid turning away work.
